http://www.valleydogs.org/pumpkin.html -- Pumpkin is a very sweet 9 year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever. She loves walks, learning new games, but most of all, cuddling by the couch. Although a little shy at first, she is very attentive, affectionate, eager to please, and thrives on a daily routine. She's working on basic manners and learning how to be an inside dog, excelling very quickly! She's lived with other dogs (all male), does very well with small children, likes to catch birds, and is house-trained. Her previous family had too many dogs in the home and couldn't give her the attention she needed. She is currently being fostered by a family member (Valley Dogs Rescue volunteer) and lives with two other dogs. Pumpkin needs a family that will be dedicated to walking her every day, challenging her mentally, keeping her on a schedule, and showing her lots of loving.
