I go, go, go, go, go until I run out of energy and then I sleep just like the Energizer Bunny. A kind lady in Mesa took me in from some folks who were keeping me outside all by myself on their patio. I was miserable. It was hot and I wanted very badly to be inside with them, but they kept me outside all the time. She agreed to take me in although she had several dogs (which I loved), but needed to find a new home for me and asked Valley Dogs to help. I LOVE to play. I pester the other dogs at my foster home until they play with me and then we play until they are worn out but I want more play, so I find another dog and try to get them to play with me. I tire out the dogs at the adoption event playing too. You would think as tiny as I am I would wear out easily, but I dont. I have energy to spare. I am busy, playful, on the go and inquisitive. I demand attention. When I am not happy or feeling neglected, I let you know it. I can be a handful just because of my energy level and personality. I will not be ignored. Some of this is due to the fact I am just a 5 month old puppy, but some of it is just who I am. When I do tire out, I like a nice lap to sleep on or to be in bed with you (although I will settle down and sleep in a crate at night). Although there are times I can be a little much, I am a very happy and loving dog who loves to snuggle and give kisses endlessly. I definitely love to be the center of attention and be involved in all you are doing. A home with another little playful dog with a high energy level is a MUST to keep me occupied and happy, especially when my humans cannot be with me.
